Car shows in Melbourne and Victoria during 2025 and 2026

2025 Victorian Hot Rod and Street Machine Show

If you have a passion for classic cars and custom builds, then the Victorian Hot Rod and Street Machine Show is for you.

Expect a display of more than 300 hot rods, American and Australian muscle cars, and classic custom builds and custom motorcycles on 34 Club stands and 50 individual displays.

Bay to Birdwood

South Australia’s Bay to Birdwood is an annual historic motoring event featuring a parade of more than 1,500 vintage, veteran, and classic vehicles. The event starts at West Beach in Adelaide, concluding at the National Motor Museum in Birdwood, a 67-kilometre journey through the scenic Adelaide Hills.

Running since 1980, the event attracts over 120,000 attendees, making it one of the largest historic motoring events globally. Whether it’s viewed from the sidelines or by joining the Finish Festival at the National Motor Museum, the Bay to Birdwood atmosphere is vibrant.

Sydney International EV AutoShow

Returning for its second year, the Sydney International EV AutoShow is a chance to find out the latest advancements and visions for sustainable vehicles.

Besides informative exhibits, interactive displays, and expert talks, free test drives allow you to feel the performance of EVs first-hand.

Point Nepean Heritage Motor Show

The historical backdrop of the Point Nepean Quarantine Station comes alive with community spirit and a passion for automotive history at the annual Point Nepean Heritage Motor Show.

The diverse display of more than 400 cars and motorbikes takes visitors on a journey through the evolution of motoring across the eras, from vintage classics to modern marvels.

Together with live music, food trucks, and interactive exhibits, it’s a festive day out for the whole family.

Geelong Revival Motoring Festival

Head to Geelong’s picturesque waterfront this November for the annual Geelong Revival Motoring Festival. A three-day celebration of vintage motorsport, the event features over 1,500 vehicles, including classic car displays.

Alongside cars, motorbikes, and trucks, expect heart-stopping Quarter Mile Sprint races, exhilarating stunt displays, and a diverse array of classic cars.

The lineup also includes the Motorcycle Mecca and Vintage Fashion Show. Vintage fashion vendors, classic car memorabilia, and multicultural food stalls round out the event.

Chryslers on the Murray

The Southern Hemisphere’s largest annual Chrysler event, Chryslers on the Murray welcomes visitors to its 33rd showcase in 2026.

Held in the twin cities of Albury-Wodonga, this three-day event attracts Chrysler enthusiasts from across Australia. They travel far and wide to see vintage classics and modern muscle cars from the 100-year-old American automotive brand.

The new Wodonga Racecourse venue for 2026 offers improved facilities for the swap meet, driving events, entertainment, and judged competitions.

Showcars Melbourne

The family-friendly indoor/outdoor Showcars Melbourne is also moving to a new venue for their 2026 PPG Showdown 15. While the move to Caulfield Racecourse is new, you can still expect the same standards of the best-presented cars and bikes from around Victoria and Australia.

With street machines, hot rods, classics, muscle cars, elite vehicles, vintage models, and all-day entertainment, expect a lively day out for all.

Bendigo All Holden & GM Day

Held every March, the Bendigo All Holden & GM Day celebrates vehicles under the General Motors umbrella, from custom builds to original classics. This lively event unites passionate car owners, enthusiasts, and families at the Bendigo Showgrounds. 

The Bendigo show is the Victorian offshoot of the national All Holden Day event, held in Clarendon, NSW in August, attracting 15,000 spectators.

All Ford Day, Geelong

Geelong’s Eastern Park stands as Australia's largest single-make car display for the annual All Ford Day. Slated for April 2026, the 35th All Ford Day will welcome a return of over 1,500 vehicles from 50 motoring clubs.

The crowd love the range of vehicles in attendance, from the earliest Model T Fords to the latest performance beasts and rare exhibits from Ford Australia's Heritage Collection.

Beyond the impressive vehicles, special guests share their stories with attendees who enjoy a community-spirited day out with food trucks, exhibitor stalls, and ample space for picnics.

Melbourne Motor Show

Following the success of over 45,000 attendees at the 2025 Melbourne Motor Show, dates have been set for 2026, once again bringing the best in automotive innovation to Melbourne.

Promising “double the size” in 2026, the event will take over the entire Melbourne Convention Centre and feature vehicles from multiple manufacturers. The 2025 show revealed 14 new releases (two international), plus concept cars, and aftermarket products.

Catering to car enthusiasts and families alike, enjoy interactive exhibits, immersive activities, and a dedicated Kids Zone with Hot Wheels and LEGO experiences.

When: 10–12 April 2026

Rockynats

Rockynats is Queensland’s largest car and bike festival, held in Rockhampton annually. Thousands of cars descend upon the city to see skilled drivers display their talent.

After expanding the programme in 2025 – including the new Little Tokyo attraction - expect more excitement alongside the scenic Fitzroy River. There’s also live music, fashion shows, and food trucks to keep everyone entertained.

Melbourne International EV AutoShow

Australia's premier electric vehicle showcase, the Melbourne International EV AutoShow was held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in June 2025.

The three-day event offers the chance to explore the latest in EV technology, including electric SUVs, sedans, and charging solutions. Attendees can take a test drive, explore exhibits from leading manufacturers, and enjoy expert talks.

For those interested in the rapidly evolving transport landscape, this is a must-attend event. Dates for the 2026 show are yet to be confirmed.
