Located at the southern-most point of the Mornington Peninsula, RACV Cape Schanck Resort looks out over rugged Bass Strait. The resort has everything for a relaxing and revitalising break, while the Peninsula has many attractions of its own: dramatic seascapes, well-marked coastal walking tracks, hot springs, weekend country markets and exceptional wine and food.
As a cool-climate wine region, the Peninsula has made a specialty of the pinot noir variety as well as producing chardonnay, tempranillo and sparkling wines. Local wine and cheese producers are well represented in the resort’s restaurants and bars.
In keeping with its commitment to providing guests with the best possible services and facilities, RACV Cape Schanck Resort is building an exciting new facility that will include 120 accommodation rooms bringing the total rooms on the resort to 204 overall. The building will also feature a guest lounge, 25-metre swimming pool, fitness centre, day spa and conference facilities. The redevelopment project is due for completion in mid-2018.
Our existing guest rooms, which are located away from the clubhouse building, are not directly affected by the redevelopment. Some construction noise may be audible until 5.30pm when all work ceases for the day.
In the meantime, the resort continues to provide our full range of services and facilities, including a slightly modified 18-hole golf course.
