2016 Great Vic Bike Ride e-bike Competition

  1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of the conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. All employees of the promoter and its related bodies corporate and the immediate families of such employees are ineligible to enter.
  3. Only participants in the RACV 2016 Great Victorian Bike Ride are eligible to enter.
  4. Entry into the competition is automatic for those members who complete the questionnaire in full on the form at the RACV marquee at the rider’s rest stop, Lavers Hill Road House Caravan Park, on 30 November 2016. There is a maximum of one entry per person.
  5. The competition commences on 30 November 2016 and closes at 5pm on 30 November 2016 (the Promotion Period).
  6. There is one prize. The prize is a $2,300 BH EasyGo Race 700c e-bike.
  7. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified by the promoter.
  8. The first name drawn that fulfils the competition entry criteria will win the prize.
  9. The draw will take place at 7pm on 30 November 2016 at the Bicycle Network event stage at Apollo Bay Recreation Reserve.
  10. The winning entrant will be notified on the by phone and/or email if they are not available on the night. Their name will be published on www.racv.com.au on Monday 12 December 2016.
  11. If the prize is not claimed by the winner within 3 months of the date of a draw, the prize will be deemed to be forfeited by the winner and RACV will conduct a redraw with respect to that draw. If a redraw is required it will occur at 11:00am 1 March 2017. The winner notified by phone/email. Any redraws will take place at RACV, 550 Princes Highway, Noble Park North and the first valid entry drawn in any redraw will win the prize for that draw.
  12. The promoter’s decision is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. In the event that any prize item is unavailable despite the promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure within Australia, the promoter reserves the right to substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value.
  14. The promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising out of the acceptance and use of the prize by winner and will take no responsibility for prizes damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
  15. The Promoter is Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) Limited ABN 44 004 060 833, 550 Princes Highway, Noble Park North, Victoria 3174.
  16. The personal information submitted in an entry is collected by the Promoter and will be used for the purpose of conducting the promotion. Personal information supplied by entrants may be provided to related bodies corporate or agencies of the Promoter and third parties involved in promoting or conducting the promotion for the purposes of conducting the promotion and future marketing and publicity communications. An entrant can gain access to, update or correct any personal information held by the promoter by contacting the promoter by calling 13RACV (13 7228). All personal information will be stored at the office of the promoter. A copy of the Promoters privacy charter in relation to the treatment of personal information collected may be obtained by contacting the Promoter.
  17. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, image and likeness in the event they are a winner, including photograph, filming and/or recording the same in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including the outcome) and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter or its related companies.
  18. Entrants’ details may be used for future promotions carried out by the promoter. Entrants can request not to receive information about future promotions by calling 13RACV (137228).
  19. No responsibility is accepted for lost, misdirected or delayed mail.
  20. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the promoter, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion and to the fullest extent permitted at law to (a) disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

To administer the 2016 Great Vic Bike Ride e-bike Competition, RACV needs to collect and use your personal information. By participating in the competition, you also acknowledge that a further purpose for collection of your personal information is to enable RACV to use the information to assist RACV in improving goods and services and to contact you in the future with information on special offers or to provide you with marketing materials via any medium including mail, telephone and commercial electronic messages. To opt out of receiving marketing material from RACV, contact RACV on 13RACV. RACV may share information with third parties including but not limited to its Australian related companies, contractors, prize suppliers or promotional partners. By entering the competition, you acknowledge and agree that RACV may use your personal information in the manner set out in the privacy collection statement.
