Itinerary changes and trip cancellations

Change your destination or add another travel stop while avoiding cancellation fees, update your travel dates, or add new travellers until the day you leave, provided that you do not want to make a claim in relation to the change and subject to payment of applicable premium. You’ll also be reimbursed for cancellations and lost deposits if unforeseen circumstances# disrupt your trip plans.

Luggage and travel document replacement, credit for delayed luggage

For approved claims, luggage will be repaired or replaced if it gets lost, is stolen or damaged. For lost travel documents and credit cards, or those illegally used by someone other than you, receive a replacement or recovery funds to the value of their fraudulent use. Lastly, receive reimbursement# towards clothing and essentials if your luggage is delayed by over ten hours.

Round the clock medical assistance

Give yourself the best defence against accidents, insect-borne diseases and infections with 24/7 emergency medical assistance and $unlimited** hospital cover. Receive $50 per 24-hour period# if your stay in hospital exceeds 48 hours. Plus, be covered for up to 38 pre-existing medical conditions including Diabetes Type 1 and 2, high blood pressure and cover for pregnancy# up to the 25th week provided conditions meet specific criteria.

Annual Multi-Trip policy

An Annual Multi-Trip Travel Insurance plan might be for you if you travel regularly. Get cover for unlimited overseas trips within a 12-month period and receive $unlimited** overseas medical, hospital and dental cover#. Plus, receive up to $8,000 for any excess payable on a rental car if you’re involved in an incident while travelling#. 

** $unlimited means there is no cap on the maximum dollar amount which may be paid out for this benefit, noting that how much is payable for a benefit depends on the specific cover in the relevant section of the Policy Wording and any applicable exclusions.

The team of experts are available to provide emergency support 24-hours a day. Reverse charges are accepted.

Call as soon as practical if you are receiving medical care and the total cost is likely to exceed $2,000.
