Rowan first visited RACV Noosa Resort in 2010, when he and his fiance were scouting for a location for their November 2011 wedding.

Perfect wedding venue

There’s no shortage of wedding venues in Noosa, says Rowan, but with its views of Weyba Creek and a beautiful ballroom with bi-fold doors to a sweeping covered terrace and poolside lawn, RACV Noosa Resort was an immediate standout.

“It is such a beautiful space. We loved it as soon as we saw it and our wedding guests told us how much they loved it too. The views are just amazing and in terms of wedding photos, we had so many options.”

“We were incredibly impressed with the level of service everyone at the resort showed us, from our first visit to our wedding day itself,” he says.

Stay on site

Another attraction of RACV Noosa Resort was that guests could have their own getaway by staying on site. With 108 apartments, 22 suites and 36 multi-level villas, there’s more than enough space to accommodate a large contingent of travelling guests. More than 120 guests at Rowan’s wedding stayed for three nights, and he says many return to the resort regularly.

Rowan’s relationship with RACV Noosa Resort has come full circle; he and Carlene now enjoy family holidays there with their two-year-old daughter but he says it cannot be beaten as a romantic destination.

Plenty to do

Although the location is close to Noosa’s famous Hastings St – and a free shuttle transports guests there each hour – there’s so much to do at the resort that guests find it hard to leave. After relaxing by the lagoon pool with beach entry, make sure you schedule a visit to One Spa to pamper yourself with a wealth of health and beauty treatments. Of the six luxurious treatment rooms, one is a deluxe couples suite, complete with invigorating Vichy Shower and relaxation area.

There is also a range of restaurants and bars on site, including the must-try woodfire pizza at Dazza’s bar, and Arcuri Restaurant which focuses on contemporary Australian cuisine.

Romantic Couples Escape

RACV Noosa Resort is offering a special Romantic Couples Escape. Enjoy two nights’ accommodation in a suite, a three-course dinner on arrival and buffet breakfast daily in Arcuri Restaurant and a one-hour couples massage at One Spa. Packages are from just $770 for RACV members.
