RACV Travel Insurance provides cover for pregnancy in limited circumstances. Cover is included automatically up to the end of the 25th week of pregnancy for:
- single non-complicated pregnancies;
- unexpected pregnancy complications; and
- childbirth which was accelerated by accidental injury in limited circumstances.
Pregnancy is classed as a medical condition. You may need to disclose your pregnancy when buying your policy. Please refer to the combined PDS/FSG for more information on pregnancy coverage under the policy. Terms, conditions, limits, sub-limits and exclusions apply.

Update your policy
If you’ve made a mistake with your policy, please call as soon as possible so your details can be reviewed and updated, if possible.
Extend your policy
You can extend your policy at no extra cost if you experience a delay that’s covered by your policy. If you need to extend your policy for other reasons, you must apply for an extension before it expires. If your extension is approved you may need to pay an additional premium. The combined period of insurance cannot exceed 12 months. Refer to the Product Disclosure Statement for more details.
Cancel your policy
You have 21 days from the purchase date to decide if the policy suits your needs. If it doesn't, you can cancel within the "cooling-off period" for a full refund, provided you:
- haven't started your trip;
- haven’t made a claim; and
- don’t intend to make a claim or exercise any other rights under your policy.
You can also request your policy to be cancelled outside of the 21-day “cooling-off period”. You’ll need to meet the above criteria. Your request will be reviewed and is subject to approval.
