Looking for somewhere new to go on Port Phillip Bay and Westernport? The RACV Marine team have eaten their way around the bay and have come up with a number of excellent dockside dining options for boaters looking for tasty options during a leisurely day out.

Whether you're grabbing fish and chips, or looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion with a sit-down restaurant meal, you will be surprised by the options available for pulling up in your boat and eating dockside.

The map shows more than 30 locations where you can dock your boat and grab something to eat from more than 300 cafes, restaurants, bars, club houses and other eateries.

Considering stopping at a marina or yacht club? Always call ahead to ensure visitor and casual berths are available. Many places offer special accommodation rates for guests using their dining facilities so don’t forget to mention your dining plans.

Most public piers and jetties are administered by Parks Victoria. They are usually available on a first come, first serve basis. Berths are available as either short-term (usually under four hours) or overnight. Always adhere to local signage and call Parks Victoria on 131 963 for more information.

And remember to fender well to avoid hull damage from swell, boat wakes or a change in the wind.
